Committee Member for the Juvenile Courts Educational Rights Project (JCERP). Mr. Roberts has argued before the Ninth Circuit.
He has published "Autism and the Law," Foothill Autism Alliance Parental Powerpack (2000) and "A Quick Reference Guide on Commonly Used Statutes for Courts of Limited Jurisdiction" (2001). Moreover, Mr. Roberts actively speaks with parents, educators, administrators and service providers on the status of special education and disability law, including, keynote speaker for Cure Autism Now (CAN) Special Education Seminar (2002); Speaker for Talk About Curing Autism Now (TACA) (2001-06); Speaker for the National Epilepsy Foundation Annual Conference (2001); keynote speaker for California State University Fullerton, Graduate School of Education (2001); keynote Speaker at the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC), "Special Education Law" in-service seminar training for case workers and administrators (2001) and speaking engagements at dozens of parent support groups.
Mr. Roberts is also frequently interviewed by the news media and been quoted in the Orange County Register, the Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press and LRP Publications, as well as many local newspapers.
